the amount of blood is needed in a test of integrated sexually transmitted diseases?
the amount of blood needed for a disease test sexual transmission integral (where you want the lab to see if anything)? I'm talking about when you go to doctors, and have some blood, much blood you take that?
The last time I had a screen full, they drew up 3 red blood vials (for HIV and syphilis testing). I have not had evidence of herpes, however, because they are offered at the clinic. But for a full screen, you also have to give a urine sample or samples were taken from the urethra (I recommend the first). The swab or urine samples are used for gonorrhea and chlamydia cultures.
Is it “liberal” to want to protect your daughters from cervical cancer.?
WASHINGTON – Women for the first time have a vaccine to protect them against cervical cancer.
The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved use of the vaccine, Gardasil, for use in girls and women ages 9 to 26. It works by preventing infection by four strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV, the most prevalent sexually transmitted disease.
This cancer kills 3,700 women each year in the United States and hundreds of thousands more worldwide.
I just received this fundie answer:
”
You know, there are extremists on both sides. Didn’t some liberal government official try to make it mandatory for all elementary or middle school girls to have an anti-std vaccine of some kind? He was unsuccessful, thank God.”
The “Liberal” she means is our illustrious “constitutional ammendment defining marrige” governor Rick Perry. Liberal!!!! Please don’t make me laugh. His motivation was to prevent cancer.
if a vaccine is ready to protect them from cervical cancer by all means do it=you are showing that you care enough and love your daughters enough to protect them
Something I always was thinking. Does anyone ever realize how many people do not tell the People who have sex with who have incurable STD? Such as HPV, HIV, etc.. Anyway, I was joking OBVEISULY one day and this will never happen, but I was thinking, how the transmission rates of these sexually transmitted diseases incurable down, if you have to get a required (by subpoena) tattoo in a possible place you could contract the virus (of course I would have to be tested and test positive in the test). I do talk to your co-screw much easier right? And for people who say I'm an ***, I have HSV-1, which would have a tattoo on his face. FYI, I asked this in the Contacts section, well, because I want to see if I get different answers. Sorry had a bit of a mistake, I have the VHS -1 by mouth. Justmemimi … Congrulations of being a perfectionist, in really good job. justmemimi, oh, and remember is not isn't a word.
so it would be a little harsh and an invasion of privacy to have it ordered by the court. and I dont think necessarily make it easier … if you had a tattoo on his face that people can begin to discriminate against you, and not only in decision to have a relationship with you, but in general. a lot of people today are still under the impression that you can get HIV by just hugging and to imagine if they had a tattoo indicating such. There may also be a priest one day, so if you get the tattoo and come with a cure now you have to take the laser surgery and the courts are going to pay for it, doubtful. also what about the family illness that can be transmitted if you have children, you must obtain a court order for a tattoo indicating bipolar disorder in my family, or diabetes or heart disease, etc. ..?? yes …. is difficult to tell your partner about state, whatever (HPV, HIV, HSV, etc.), but it is important to gain a new perspective on the disease and their sexual lives. if your partner means something to you, you tell them and most likely going to be okay with it and protect themselves. if not, then maybe I dont really care for the person inside, just physics.
Why do ALL RELIGIONS cause so many problems? Please read:?
The level of atheism throughout the rest of the developed world refutes any argument that religion is somehow a moral necessity. Countries like Norway, Iceland, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Japan, the Netherlands, Denmark and the United Kingdom are among the least religious societies on Earth. According to the United Nations’ Human Development Report (2005) they are also the healthiest, as indicated by measures of life expectancy, adult literacy, per capita income, educational attainment, gender equality, homicide rate and infant mortality. Conversely, the 50 nations now ranked lowest in terms of human development are unwaveringly religious. Other analyses paint the same picture: The United States is unique among wealthy democracies in its level of religious literalism and opposition to evolutionary theory; it is also uniquely beleaguered by high rates of homicide, abortion, teen pregnancy, STD infection and infant mortality. What gives????
a lot of people i know use religion as a way to forgive themselves of what they’ve done. they think it’s alright to be money mongers as long as they go to church once a week. this gives them the sense that as long as they continue giving up 2 hours of their time once a week, they’ll go to heaven no matter what they’ve done in life. another issue is religious people passing too much judgment on others without first looking at their own lives. they think that just because they believe in god and jesus that they’re given the right to pass judgment on others. and the last time i checked, there was only one person who lived without sin, and he’s been dead for a while.
maybe nations that aren’t very religious focus on things other than religion powered issues. they work with literacy rates instead of gay marriage, they work on promoting the use of condoms so that kids know how to use them instead of promoting abstinence only programs that leave kids clueless as to what’s happening to them sexually and then they don’t know how to use a condom so they don’t and end up pregnant with std’s all over the place.
i’m not saying that religion is bad, but it’s bad when people use it in any other way than practicing their faith privately.

Does getting tested for STDs look bad when applying for new insurance in the future?
I understand that this can be a question asked when buying health or life insurance: have you ever had STD testing before.
I think I should get tested for STDs, but am worried that the fact I got tested (whether or not I test positive) might have future consequences. Is this true? Would many men (I am a man) answer yes to this question (of being tested for STDs before)?
Thanks for any input.
No, this isn’t true. If anything, they should be happy you did this. All people should be checked regularly for STDs.
Human Papillomavirus is a sexually transmitted disease that can cause cervical cancer cervix in women. Also cause genital warts. About 20 million people are currently infected with HPV. However, most infections HPV have no signs or symptoms, so most infected people do not know they have the disease.
i do not know who did it, but thanks for spreading the word to many people do not know
STD Symptoms – Common Sexually Transmitted Disease Symptoms
For some women a bacterial vaginal infection may go away without any treatment. However this may not happen in majority of the case. Once you notice any symptoms like itching, irritation, pain, vaginal odor or grayish white vaginal discharge you should visit a doctor and get a proper examination done. This is a very common problem so doesn’t feel shy and embarrassed. Also be transparent with your partner and explain him the problem
There are several risks and complications that are possible if this problem is left untreated. Here are some of the possible risks.
1) A sufferer of bacterial vaginal infection has a higher chance of developing disease like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Pelvic inflammatory disease increases the chances of infertility and damage to the fallopian tubes. PID in pregnant women can lead ectopic pregnancy which can be life threatening. Treating a problem like pelvic inflammatory disease is much more complicated and expensive.
2) If left untreated this problem can lead to rapid multiplication of the bad bacteria to other parts of the body causing other infections triggered by bad bacteria.
3) Since BV does not interfere with the fertilization process, women can get pregnant. However women with BV can deliver premature child or a child that is under weight. You need to take corrective steps to prevent this.
4) A BV sufferer is more prone to get sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia and gonorrhea. Even the chances of attracting HIV are high for women with BV.
Clearly the above mentioned risk can cause further disruption to normal like and in some cases can lead to a life threatening situation and hence it is advisable to treat a bacterial vaginal infection at the earliest.
Lately, sometimes after I urinate a burning sensation in the penis. I went to the doctor and I have white blood cells in urine. is supposed to be a urinary tract infection and gave me an antibiotic. I feel a little better, but I still worried. Could be something else, after all, IU is not very common for men. If it is UTI how long does it take to go away for me? I'm sexually active. What infections am I at risk? What about STDs? Could chylimdia or gonnerhea? I have no other symptoms other than pain when I urinate.
Your doctor will probably give another test to see if there is extra white cells was only on that day. If you feel better Tho, it is probably good. A common reason for the white blood cells in urine kidney stones.
Planned Parenthood must tell you that you have or do not have HIV in person?
Back in late April 2007, I made a trip to Planned Parenthood in Mission Viejo (Orange County), CA. I received a screening for gonorrhea and chlamydia (through urine) and syphilis and HIV (through blood). When I got tested, told me to call in a week or two, if he had any STDs, except for aid. I had to call to get the results of AIDS. That yes, they never said anything about having to meet someone to find out. I called the clinic a few days later (I forget the reason), and out of curiosity I asked how the results my test to do so. They said they had not received the results of the urine, however, and when I asked about my HIV and syphylis, said negative. I was so relieved. I learned I had chlamydia, a week later so when I called to make an appointment to get my treatment, I reconfirmed with them that I was HIV negative. In late August I tested again at a clinic in San Diego and I was told to appear in person to get results, whether good or bad. E-mail me @ skrinklebaby.
There are no general guidelines on reporting test results. Each clinic sets it own policy. Some clinics may want you come in person to know with certainty who is telling the right person. It also may want you to be so if the news is bad, you can immediately offer advice, support, and a medical follow-up appointment.
When a man is not sexually active discovers she has warts on the penis, may be confused and panicked. However, most people do not realize that warts on the penis can not be caused by an STD. It may be caused by one of several skin conditions.

These conditions are usually harmless and warts often disappear on their own without treatment. But in some cases may become more numerous. If this happens, talk to your doctor about treatment. Often the same type of treatment used for both non-venereal and venereal warts how are you. The options are the same, chemicals, surgery or treatment with laser to remove warts. The main point of this treatment is simply to reduce the discomfort of his penis.
