Did my friend infect me with something through the bathroom sink? STD’s, bacteria, viruses, etc.?

I dropped my contact lens in the bathroom sink 2 weeks ago, and about 2 days after that, the bottom part of my eyes (not the eyeball, but the skin) became painful and swollen. The white part of my eyes were also red. No pus or clear liquid.

Those solutions aren’t designed to kill viruses or diseases, so you may have transmitted it to your eye, because it is a very sensitive area and is easily infected.

I know more “Christians” screwing around unmarried than anyone else. You might have a point if it weren’t for the fact that everything you generalize about atheists there are more Christians involved in it. Giving sex the stigma of sin is what entices people to sleep around on the sly and not tell anyone they’ve gotten an STD. Plus, nearly all of the pregnant teens running around sapping the system of taxpayer dollars identify as Christians, which is why they’re having the babies–abortion is sinful. What the…??? So is sleeping around with every guy you meet UNPROTECTED.

It’s more the fault of so-called “religious” people than those who are mature, responsible, and confident.

How long do I have before permanent damage? (Gonorrhea)?

Im almost positive I have gonorrhea, & caught it in the 2nd week of January. I noticed symptoms about a week or 2 later, but thought it was a yeast infection or something minor. Then I thought it was herpes, & used a blow dryer down there to help. It soothed the itching a bit, but made it uncomfortable because of the extreme dryness.
I’ve been reading about symptoms, & I have itching, pain & burning during urination, frequent urination, dryness, bloody discharge, cramping, sore throat.
It’s only been 2 months, & Im getting a test tomorow. I dont know how long it will take to get my results & treatment.
Is it already serious? Has permanent damage been done? Am I able to catch gonorrhea again ? How long after treatment will I feel better? Has it already spread to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?
P.S- My vagina is also very red & swollen, with different smelling discharges, colours, textures every other day. & My period has been irregular.

Only your doctor will be able to tell you if you have developed PID, but the test should provide results pretty quickly and you will receive treatment right away. You are definitely able to catch gonorrhea again, the active proteins on the bacteria that causes it (Neisseria) are constantly changing, much like a cold does, so there is always a different strain to catch. By the way.. never wait two months again – go as soon as you think something is up because that’s kind of a long time.

can metronizadole cure gonorrhea, chlamydia and other stds or just bv?

Cause i took metronizadole for an infection and it went away. that means i had bv and not an std right? this was atleast 4 to 5 months ago. i have no symptoms of an std or anything right now. can metronizadole cure STDS?

Gonorrhea and chlamydia are not treated with metronidazole. Azithromycin is given for chlamydia and ceftriaxone for gonorrhea.
