if you tested to all kinds of STDs and the results came back negative, what are the odds that?
this person has hiv? i mean, do people who are hiv positive (or have aids) usually have other STDs like herpies, chlamydia or hpv? i didn´t have many partners but i am panicking about it so i´ll get tested too ( cause i am always paranoid whether my ex bfs cheated on me) . my other question is: what are the odds that you can get infected while testing, i mean, there are always certain stories about nurses who spread hiv intentionally which is terrible. i live in europe, in a country which has really low hiv risk ( only about 500 people are hiv infected). tnx for your help 
Why wouldn’t you just get tested for HIV instead of guessing depending on the other test results? Or get tested for all of them at the same time.

I’m 17 and live in the UK. Smears are usually required to women of the age 25 at the youngest unless the test is needed. So i have never had a reason to have one and have never had a smear or swab. ETC. Except for a chlamydia one in which you do yourself. My little sister who is 15 may have BV (bacterial vagina’s) and will have to have a swab at the nurses surgery and may need to have a smear to rule out some other problems is may have caused or something. So if you have ever had a swab at the doctors what actually happens? Shes very worried and ever so shy, i doubt she will open her legs for a stranger.. Any help would be much appreciated. And to be honest i should of had a swab done a while ago to determined if i had something and i wouldn’t take it.. Luckily my nurses Guess was right so i understand why she doesn’t want to do the test. Thanks.

Well he took a pair of panties that were soaked (i wiped myself after masterbating) that (how emberassing…) he licked clean :S. As a habit, i get std tested every 6 months. I found out I have Chlamydia. What are the chances that my dog might get Chlamydia? I know you can pass Chlamydia orally but can humans even pass Chlamydia to dogs? (God, even after the explination my question sounds gross). Please im begging for honest answers. This is something i dont think i can bring up at the doctors office comfortably so in anonymity’s sake im asking here. Im seriously more afraid for my dog than myself.
yes dogs can catch Chlamydia and if a dog has it it can be passed on to humans. So the same it can also be passed fron Human to dog. So your best bet is to have your dog checked out for it just to be on the safe side.

i had unprotected sex on september 4th. i took the morning after pill about 2 days after…on the 6th. i was warned that the guy who i had sex with might have an STD or even aids. since then i’ve had rare discharge coming from my vagina. it’s an odd smell. and color too…more of a tan color not yellowish/white like usual. i got my period on the 12th…approx. a week after i took the pill. only this time my blood is alot more liquidy and not so thick. it literally is liquid flowing out of me. but its blood. is this normal? do i have an std? i havent had any other symptoms…other than i had a really bad throat infection where it became very swollen and i got whiteish stuff all over it. but that might have been just a throat infection. PLEASE HELP!!!

Your throat infection sounds like Strep. Strep is known for swollen tonsils and white blisters. As for your question, you may have an STD but more than likely you have an infection. When you have sex, you bacteria gets in your vagina and sometimes can do that. If you had sex that recently, you probably are not having symptoms of an STD. I would go to the doctor just to be sure.

We were both tested on the same day at different clinics. He got his results back sooer than I. He said his were positive, a few weeks later mine were negative. He says he hasn’t been with anyone else. I have, but used protection. His reason, that he claims his doctor told him, was that symtoms are sometimes not present in women and that is he reason for the negative test, but I would think that an infection is an infection and if I had it the test would be positive even if I had no symptoms. Was the doctor at his clinic accurate? We both took swab tests. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
Other issue I see here is that, chlamydia is a localized infection, which means that depending on where you contracted you can give it from that source. For example if you contracted chlamydia from someone that had it in their mouth, then If you kiss that person and then you give oral sex to your bf without a condom, then you can pass it to him via oral sex. same can be apply for anal, vaginal sex. He can say he didn’t have sex with other people, and is up to you to believe it, he is your bf. Best of luck.

I first started having unprotected sex w/a guy back at the first part of November. It was stupid, I know….just wondering if I had gotten something from him would I know by now? I have no sort of symptoms and I haven’t noticed anything unusual, thankfully. I will use protection from now on…just curious as to whether I could know by now. I want to get tested of course….I know some things(hiv,ect.) wouldn’t have symptoms already.
The time it could take to discover an STD would vary depending upon the STD. Some have no symptoms at all or some would take some time to show up. I would suggest getting tested right away. Your health is the most important thing in the world. If you, god forbid, contracted HIV/AIDS that could take 6 months to even show up in a blood test – so you’ll need to be tested twice.
