most common stds
If someone has slept with around 20 people and they were all one night stands, what are the chances they could?
have an std?
Some were without condoms?
This is not me, it’s my friend. And I’m super worried about her,
I told her sleeping around isn’t good and now she just hides it from me..
and what stds are most common that she might have gotten?
I know she has bacterial vaginosis, and that makes you more vulnerable to his aids :/
hiv* typooo
BV isnt sexually transmitted but it is common in very sexually active women so she wont be doing herself any favours in getting rid of that.
Any sex with different partners carries risks – even if using condoms. Condoms will not protect her from herpes, genital warts etc and of course, they can split.
Its hard to say in regards to what she may have gotten as it really is pot luck when it comes to stds.
One person could sleep with a hundred people and not get anything and another could sleep with one and contract HIV.
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are particularly popular in the under 25s tho. If left untreated in females they can cause pelvic inflammatory disease and ultimately infertility. They can be easily detected by your friend doing a swab herself at her GPs or STD clinic and treated effectively.
She may have already picked up herpes, warts, syphillis, hepatitis and hiv and not had any physical symptoms.
Try get her to the clinic
