about hiv and std test?

when go for a blood test to know about he/she have hiv?

I learned HIV has to be tested a few times in 2-7 years for it to be diagnosed because it wouldnt show up in all blood tests. So it might show up on test in year 2 or year 7 or even later but it might not show up in year 7 at all. It’s tricky. God bless you
