Is it free in the state of Iowa to undergo testing for Chlamydia or any other STD?
Also, how much would the treatment be for a male for Chlamydia if he did not have insurance?
At some places they charge and some don’t, and you won’t need any insurance most of the time…you can call this number to get free testings in your area (1-866-RAP-IT-UP) Good luck

Want to know you risk exposure to HIV? You have any symptoms?
I have seen similar questions on this site about HIV transmission but most of them are not accurate. HIV is , unlike what most people think, hard to get. Can’t believe it?
If you have any questions such as you risk exposure, testing times, prevention, and/ or symptoms that you think are HIV related go to this site:
www.medhelp.com
click on forums then HIV prevention/public- you can ask questions for free here. TEAK, HIV positive for many years, will give you some accurate answers. But if you want to hear from the doctors you will have to pay $15/question.
I am just posting this because there are many people that log in here asking questions about HIV but at the end they stress about the answer.

when go for a blood test to know about he/she have hiv?
I learned HIV has to be tested a few times in 2-7 years for it to be diagnosed because it wouldnt show up in all blood tests. So it might show up on test in year 2 or year 7 or even later but it might not show up in year 7 at all. It’s tricky. God bless you
About a month ago i was raped and now my boyfriend is having symptoms of stds. I am not having any, but i don’t know if i just don’t show symptoms for some reason. We have had sex since and i’m worried i gave him something. Every clinic i go to the average cost is around $150. I don’t have health care or insurance and don’t have the money. Is there anyway to check for stds yourself, and not go to a clinic? because i have no idea what to do!
PLEASE HELP!!!!
You can go to your local Health Department or Planned Parenthood for low-cost or free testing. Some STDs don’t have symptoms, so testing is the only way to find out for sure if you are infected.
So a month ago I was diagnosed with gonorrhea, however I never had any symptoms. Anyway they treated me with a single dose of antibiotics. I must have had gonorrhea for 18 months since that’s the last time I slept with somebody.
The only symptom I ever had was discomfort in my intestines, however that’s not a symptom of gonorrhea. Well now I’m getting pain in my knees, ankles, wrists, shins, and my liver. I also have this burning sensation in specific spots in my lower abdomen and my lower back.
Are these symptoms that gonorrhea is still persistent? Or maybe they are symptoms caused by the killing of the bacteria.
Any ideas?
You have either advanced stage of ghonorea or a cancer. ghonorea can cause cancer. Your symptoms sound very serious to me.See your doctor soon.
is it true that for a guy to get an aids or std test they put a needle inside his penis???
is it true that for a guy to get an aids or std test they put a needle inside his penis???
not at all. For HIV/AIDS they draw blood. It does not hurt and is quit easy. For Other STDs they use a long qtip and swab the inside of ur penis it is a little uncomfortable but all this can be avoided to a degree with the use of rubbers. Later stages of syphilis are tested by blood draw. So opefully this answers ur ? Also if u think u have one get checked it is ur best option.
