Does anybody know what percentage of gay men are HIV positive?

I asked this question in the std section and just got answers like they are 10 times more likely, and wear protection if you are gay and quit having multiple partners. All I wanted to know is does anyone have an idea on what percentage of men are infected.

I’m assuming youmean in North America rather than worldwide. many gay activists willtry to hide the fact that it is still a gay problem in the USA and Canada by quoting the african stats and therefore concluding that young women have it most.

Its pretty well impossible to tell what ” percentage” of gay have aids because many will not tell you that they are gay. however this information may help its the listings from the CDC on who has it , their sexual orientation and how many cases there have been of each . as of 2007 the most recent documented studies.

as you can see, homosexual males still have the highest incidence of HIV regardless of what drivel the activists have tried to put out. It still by a factor of 4.6 to 1 a gay problem in North America according to the CDC>

you cant really see it, but can feel it. Its painful to touch but if left alone is fine. could it be a sign of an STD i have unprotected sex for the first time 3 days ago, could an STD sign show up that fast? it appeared this morning, no signs of anything the first 2 days.

I have no signs of an STD, I have had multiple sex partners, and i ALWAYS wear Protection.

Try planned parent hood. Or see if you can get checked by the college nurse, if there is one.

I stayed single for the past 5 yrs because I always attract the wrong type. I didn’t want anyone, but found a nice guy.The relationship started off slowly and things were well. I googled his name, checked the pedophile lists, asked him to get tested for STD’s before we had sex, and then met and questioned his family. I took every pre-caution, only to find out what a loser i picked again. Now I live with this man and have recently found out even more troubling news. He does love me and I him. I also have realized that you can work through problems, every relationship has to.
I want to know why I am such a bum magnent. I can’t figure out if my boyfriend is just a con artist, mental patient, or drug addict. I know i am a bit co-dependent….but….he hides too much from me.
So i sit on the fence….do I continue on or go back to the single side and lose all the good points he has to offer.
I can’t make a decision. The pros and cons are balanced!

From what you say he sounds alot like my ex. I stayed and tried to work it out but it just ended up hurting me more in the end. What kind of things does he do? You say you are “a bit co dependant” Co dependants usually attract sociopathic personalities. That is what I have been doing for years. Now I know and can see the signs before I fall for these types. I am not sure if this is your problem but it’s worth looking into. If this sounds like him RUN FAST! This is not something that can be treated or changed. It is a part of this person’s personality. Where I can get a free trial std in Detroit Michigan, I can not find in the health of the community site?

I'm not 100% insurance but planned parenthood is a place to try. I'm not positive if it is free, but probably quite cheap. I would recommend calling them and at least ask him. I know I've had friends who have used planned parenthood and what it was for free was too have had friends who were and are charged a very small share, but try not hurt to ask.

hello so yes iv posted this befor about a white spot on top my gum but people were confused and came up with all sorts of idears what it could be so iv took a photo of it and hoping someone might know lol.
it comes and goes i spose the only way i can describe it is like a zit with a white head that pops then comes back again.
it dont hurt and its been there for along time now.

I would suspect, that if it is slightly indented, is tender or painful to touch, and has only recently shown up (as in the last 24-36 hours) that it is most likely a canker sore and will self-resolve in 3-5 days.

You can help things along by brushing it gently with your tooth brush dipped in Listerine several times a day, and rinsing with salt water. Also I’ve read that if you dab it with a Q-tip dipped in red wine, it helps to heal canker sores faster (never tried it myself).

If it doesn’t get better in the next few days, make an appointment with your dentist or doctor.
